Jake Paul’s hiatus plans could be set.
After breaking his jaw in a loss to Anthony Joshua last week, the professional boxer is set to take a break from the ring, but he has already made it known that he will stay busy, as Paul admitted he has a bad case of baby fever.
During a Tuesday appearance on his brother Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast following his jaw surgery, Paul was asked about his plans following the loss to Joshua on Friday in Miami.
“I’m gonna take some time off to go support [his fiancée] Jutta [Leerdam] at the Olympics. Then she’s gonna move to Puerto Rico. Move her here. Maybe go snowboarding or something,” Paul said before mentioning the feeling that has overwhelmed him lately.
“I have such baby fever. Like I want kids so bad,” he said after Logan mentioned he wanted to get his daughter cousins to play with in the future.
The 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer announced his engagement to the Dutch speed skating world champion in March. The couple met thanks to Paul shooting his shot in sending a DM to Leerdam on Instagram, inviting her to go on his podcast. They have been together since 2022 and went public with their relationship in 2023.
Paul proposed on a fully decorated balcony with a gorgeous mountain backdrop.
Since the fight, Paul underwent surgery involving four plates and eight screws inserted into his jaw.
The six-round knockout gave Paul his second professional loss of his career.
