With Mother’s Day around the corner, Jessie James Decker has been reflecting on parenthood. “The best thing is waking up to my kids’ beautiful faces every day and tucking them into bed every night,” says Decker, mom to Vivianne, 12, Eric Jr., 10, Forrest, 8, and Denver, 2, with former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker. “I’ve never loved anything, or anyone, so hard in my life.”
The “Should Have Known Better” singer’s brood typically wakes her up on Mother’s Day with flowers and handmade gifts, just as she prefers. Family and food are a big part of the country artist’s brand: The New York Times best-selling author has penned a lifestyle book and two cookbooks, with a third, “The Secret Sauce: A Family Cookbook Seasoned With Love,” out in October. Her Just Feed Me home collection is thriving, and her fun-and-affordable fashion brand, Kittenish, is festival-season bliss. But music is what first made Decker, 38, famous (she now boasts 4.3 million followers on Instagram), and she’s happy to reveal she has new songs in the works.
