Katy Perry shared a subtle message after being accused of sexual assault by Ruby Rose.

Perry, 41, took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 14, to share an excerpt of her song “By the Grace of God” with a caption that read, “I love you.”

The lyrics from the song reflect on weathering personal issues.

“We were living on a fault line / And I felt the fault was all mine / Couldn’t take it anymore,” Perry sings on the track. “By the grace of God (There was no other way) / I picked myself back up (I knew I had to stay) / I put one foot in front of the other and I / Looked in the mirror and decided to stay / Wasn’t gonna let love take me out that way.”

The post came one day after Perry’s reps shut down allegations made by Rose, 40.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a shit what she thinks,” Rose wrote via Threads on Saturday, April 11. “After it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person. Instead I got attacked by.. Everyone.”

Rose claimed that Perry “didn’t kiss” her.

“She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomitted on her,” she added. “Yeah, not interested in filing a report over this, not when I haven’t even filed a report for the numerous rapes at the hands of grown men.”

Rose continued: “But she is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened, I have photos and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people). Plus there is so much more that happened in the years leading up to her silly song she won’t want me discussing. The psychological manipulation was strong with that one.”

Rose went on to claim that she would be taking her allegations to the police.

“Today I will be walking into a police station to see if any of my experiences can be investigated. I imagine they are past their statute of limitations, but all the more reason to try,” she wrote on Sunday, April 12. “I have a long list, it will probably take more out of me than I’m prepared for, but I will come back here to update others on the process, as soon as I am ready.”

The post concluded: “I want to thank all the brave women who have come forward with their stories about sexual abuse. Especially the ones who went through the painful process of going through the police and court system. For years I have been too wounded and afraid to take the appropriate steps because I know the system seldom works.”

Rose then confirmed that she “did it,” writing via Threads, “If any good witches, or spirit folk, feel so generous as to cast a few protective spells around me, it would be greatly appreciated. I said names inside the station that hold much more power than me and frankly, freak me out. I feel very relieved so far but have no expectations. I do however want to assure people that I am in no way suicidal, if you know what I mean. Nor do I take drugs, or have any health conditions.”

In a response shared with Us Weekly, a spokesperson for Perry shut down the claims.

“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” a representative for Perry told Us in a statement on Monday, April 13. “Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
