Don’t forget the sunscreen

A tough way to end the NASCAR COTA race weekend is with a sunburn. The weather has been beautiful for three of the previous four race weekends with rain dampening the sport’s first visit in 2021.

Make sure to pack sunscreen to stay safe from the sun’s rays out there.

Check out the merchandise haulers at COTA

Fans, especially the kids, love to stop by the merchandise haulers in the Fan Zone. There are specific haulers for each team (for example, Hendrick Motorsports with merchandise for Alex Bowman, William Byron, Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson) and include shirts, hats, diecast cars and other items to remember the trip to the racetrack.

COTA cooler policy, other prohibited items

Coolers are not allowed at COTA. Thermoses and ice chests are also not allowed. Metal water bottles, food, beverages (including alcohol) are also not allowed. The list of prohibited items is rather long and the full list can be found at the COTA venue policies website.
