Kylie Kelce playfully offered husband Jason Kelce a word of advice after he dropped a NSFW joke last week in his “Monday Night Countdown” debut.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Kylie reflected on the past few months with the retired Eagles center, 36, who will visit Lincoln Financial Field on Monday as an ESPN analyst after joining the network this offseason.
“Training camp looked a little different this year. Watching you at the Linc on Monday is going to be a little different too. Just know that the girls and I are loving cheering you on in this new chapter!” exclaimed Kylie, who shares three daughters with Jason, her husband of six years.
“… Maybe try not to say tits this week?”
It was a memorable Week 1 experience for Kelce, who forgot his travel bag and purchased a shirt that was a bit snug before kickoff between the Jets and 49ers last Monday.
“It fits my belly now I’ve lost a little bit of weight but my tits are still struggling,” Kelce said on the broadcast from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where the Niners ultimately crushed the Jets, 32-19.
Kelce’s younger brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, revealed days later on the siblings’ “New Heights” podcast that he and girlfriend Taylor Swift were “dying laughing” over the gaffe.
“Me and Taylor were watching it, absolutely dying laughing at that. It was the perfect thing to open everybody up to what they are going to experience the next 18 weeks,” Travis, 34, said on Wednesday’s episode.
Kelce spent 13 NFL seasons in Philadelphia before calling it a career in March. He joined the Worldwide Leader this past spring.
“I felt very nervous I didn’t know what to expect,” Kelce said Wednesday of his ESPN debut. “And then you realize that you were prepared, that ESPN did a great job of setting everything up and that you’re on set, thankfully for me, with three other guys that have done it a bunch.
“… I was nervous, there’s no two ways about it. I think whenever you’re anything you’re doing for the first time and you don’t know what to expect, I think that’s natural. It was a lot of fun. I think me being up there with guys that have done it before and are so good at it, you feel more comfortable.”
Kelce’s former Eagles team is hosting the Falcons on “Monday Night Football” to conclude Week 2.
