In the OpenLabs poll shared in political insider groups, analysts noted that in PA President Biden is trailing former President Trump by 7.3 polling points. It also showed that approximately 10% of voters in PA remain undecided.
The poll went on to consider other potential Democratic Party presidential candidates. In Pennsylvania, voters preferred the following candidates in this order — all ranking above Biden as a candidate:
- Governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer.
- United States Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.
- Governor of California Gavin Newsom.
- Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris.
“Buttigieg and Whitmer over-perform the most, with both leading or tied in the states that get them to 270 electoral votes,” as stated in the OpenLabs document.
