Model Lindsey Pelas said “f–k” those that hate on Brittany Mahomes for being named a 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie.

While on the red carpet at the SI “The Party” event at XS Nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday, Pelas was asked if she thinks fellow models will embrace Brittany.

“There’s going to be haters in every job, in any industry but who gives a s–t,” Pelas told TMZ Sports. “F–k haters.

“If people aren’t hating, then you probably weren’t doing great anyways.”

When asked if she believes Mahomes has a future in modeling, Pelas said: “I think she can do — women can do whatever they want to do. Whatever they feel like doing.

“Women are great at reinventing and doing anything at any time, so 100 percent, whatever she wants.”

Pelas also gushed that she loved Mahomes’ shoot.

“I love everything Sports Illustrated does. They knock it out of the park every time,” she said, adding that she’s “excited to see” where modeling takes Mahomes.

Mahomes was named a SI Swimsuit rookie days before her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs beat the 49ers, 25-22, in overtime in Super Bowl 2024 on Sunday.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and former covergirl Camille Kostek also weighed in on Mahomes’ joining the SI Swim family.

“I found out the same way everyone else does, you have no idea who the rookie class is going to be,” said Kostek, the girlfriend of retired four-time Super Bowl champ Rob Gronkowski. “I believe that when you have this platform and it’s something that you want to carry on and build on, the world is your oyster.”

Kostek was named the co-winner of the 2018 Swim Search and landed on the SI Swimsuit cover the following year.

Mahomes will be featured in SI Swimsuit’s 60th anniversary issue, the publication revealed last Thursday.

The mother of two shot her 2024 SI Swim rookie campaign on the white sand beaches in northern Belize, where she modeled a number of stunning looks, including a sexy red swimsuit by Mugler.

Mahomes is a former pro soccer player-turned owner of the NWSL’s KC Current, a certified personal trainer and fitness entrepreneur.

In an interview with the publication, Brittany — a former pro soccer player-turned owner of the NWSL’s KC Current — described herself as “unapologetically always myself in any setting” while dealing with being under a microscope by media and NFL fans.

Jena Sims, the wife of LIV Golf pro Brooks Koepka, is in the 2024 SI Swim rookie class, and welcomed Mahomes with open arms in a series of post on social media — as well as in-person at Super Bowl 2024.
