Love Is Blind season 7 alum Ashley Adionser has split from husband Tyler Francis after one year of marriage.

“After much reflection, I want to share that Tyler and I have been separated for several weeks and have now made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” Adionser, 32, said in a statement to People on Tuesday, January 21. “While I had hoped for mutual understanding and transparency in our relationship, it has become clear that our paths are no longer aligned, making it impossible for me to continue in this marriage.”

Adionser added that the decision to call it quits was not an easy one, but clarified that it was “necessary.”

“This was not a decision I made lightly, but one I know is necessary for my own growth and peace,” she continued. “While this chapter is ending, I will always hold respect for the time and love we shared. I kindly ask for privacy during this deeply personal time as I focus on healing and building a new future. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

During their season of Love Is Blind, which aired in October 2024, Adionser and Francis connected — and got engaged — in the pods. After meeting face-to-face for the first time, Adionser received her engagement ring and the pair took off on a getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

After their romantic trip, Adionser and Francis moved in together in Washington D.C. for a “trial marriage.” It was then that Francis revealed he had fathered multiple children. According to the military veteran, he donated sperm to a friend who could not have biological children.

“You’ve been running around here talking about how we’re getting married, but you’ve also been running around saying how you want to have kids now. And it’s like, ‘Whoa,’” Adionser said in an October 2024 episode. “How did you, like, even talk about any of that? I just can’t wrap my mind around it without even considering your past at all?”

Despite Adionser being upset that Francis kept that information away from her at first, the twosome ultimately walked down the aisle and said “I do.” Adionser later revealed that the children’s birth mother reached out to her to apologize.

“I will say she wrote me on Instagram and apologized to me and Tyler. [She] said she’s praying for us and she never meant for it to go this way. She won’t say too much on this forum,” she recalled on a November 2024 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “She also wrote me and said it was OK if I never wanted to respond and she knows my world is crazy right now and she never intentionally meant to cause me any pain.”
