Former NFL defensive end and sportscaster Marcellus Wiley allegedly threatened to kill his wife Annemarie and got physical with her in front of their 7-year-old daughter before his domestic violence arrest Saturday in Orlando, Fla., according to the arrest affidavit.
Annemarie, who appeared as a full-time cast member on Season 13 of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” called police to report a battery after an alleged altercation in a hotel room at World Marriott.
The pair’s three children, along with other kids, all of whom were at the hotel to attend a basketball tournament, were in the room when police arrived, per the affidavit.
Police said in the arrest affidavit that Annemarie told them she wanted her husband removed from their room because she was afraid of him after he threatened her life — and that she’s planning on divorcing him.
Annamarie claimed that on Friday morning the former Pro Bowler stood over her and “used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek” in front of their 7-year-old daughter.
She alleged that Wiley has an unreported history of violence toward her in the past.
Marcellus told police that he and his wife did not have a physical altercation in the hotel — and that he’s never gotten physical with her wife.
He said he was in the hotel room taking care of the children, and showed police cordial text messages between he and his wife.
Wiley was previously accused of sexual assault by four women, according to a story published by Rolling Stone in May.
The former broadcaster with ESPN and Fox Sports denied the allegations in an episode of his self-titled podcast, and claimed he had evidence to prove “alleged misrepresentations.”
He was previously sued by three individuals for allegedly raping them while at Columbia.
