JACKSON, Tenn.—The Miss Teen Volunteer Pageant concluded Saturday evening in Jackson.

Out of the 51 contestants from all across the U.S. and District Columbia, Izzy Karns representing Mississippi, was crowned as the new reigning Miss Teen Volunteer America 2026.

The win comes with more than just a new title. The new Miss Teen Volunteer will also receive a $10,000 scholarship.

We sat down with Karns to learn a little more about the new Miss Teen Volunteer America winner.

“I’m 18-years-old. I’m actually turning 19 at the end of the week, so this is the best start to my birthday week. But I’m from Ellisville, Mississippi, ” Karns said.

The Miss Teen Volunteer Pageant is an annual event that draws a great deal of tourism and commerce to the Jackson area each year.
