The Morning Show follows the off-screen drama of news anchors Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon). But in real life, the actress’ love lives are far less complicated.
Since the show’s 2019 debut, both characters have carried on their share of steamy affairs, including Alex’s relationship with tech billionaire Paul Marks (Jon Hamm) and Bradley’s romance with fellow journalist Laura Peterson (Julianna Margulies).
In real life, Aniston and Witherspoon are both in new relationships. In July 2025, PEOPLE confirmed Aniston was dating hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, who supported her at the September 2025 The Morning Show season 4 premiere. Meanwhile, Witherspoon’s boyfriend is German businessman Oliver Haarmann.

The two first met in 2009 while performing in 24 Hour Plays, an event in which actors and writers must invent and perform short plays or musicals in 24 hours. But the actors didn’t start dating until 2017 after filming the 2016 Netflix series Gypsy together.

Karen Pittman, who plays a hard-nosed producer on The Morning Show, is a softie when it comes to her love life, announcing her engagement to filmmaker Ade Richardson during an August 2024 appearance on Today with Jenna and Hoda.
“He’s gorgeous,” she said, adding that the two met on a dating app. “I was very intentional. I knew what I wanted and I didn’t compromise, and he showed up.”
Her Morning Show costars were thrilled for her — Greta Lee, who plays UBS’ network president, threw the couple a surprise engagement party, Pittman told PEOPLE in September 2025.
“It’s just that kind of a vibe is what we’re on on The Morning Show,” she said. “Just really loving each other and supporting each other.”

Hamm, who plays billionaire Paul Marks, has been married to Anna Osceola since 2023.
The couple reportedly met on the set of Mad Men, where Osceola had a small role in the final episode of the show. They were first linked romantically in 2020 and got engaged in February 2023.
In June 2023, Hamm and Osceola got married in Big Sur, Calif. — a.k.a. the same place where their Mad Men characters met.
The actor previously didn’t think that marriage was in the cards for him, but his relationship with Osceola changed his mind.
“I didn’t look at marriage as a thing. Obviously, my parents were not married long, so I don’t have a model to look at and go, ‘Oh, this is how one finds happiness.’ I just knew at a certain point I wanted to be with this person,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2024. “When I proposed, I was terrified. I was like, ‘What am I doing?’ ”

“Raising kids with a partner is a gamble. When you start dating someone in your 20s you’re generally not considering whether they can whip up a rocket out of a cardboard boxes,” Armstrong wrote in a 2023 Mother’s Day post on his Instagram, which has since been made private. “No parent is perfect, or very good, at first. I’m not. But I feel like I hit the lottery with you @thegreta (and while lotteries are problematic they do fund schools or something I think so double win?).”
In addition to their children, the couple raises three free-range chickens, per Vogue.
