Just in time for America’s 250th birthday, the MLB is making some TV history to celebrate with the national pastime.
It’s Star Spangled Sunday, a.k.a. one day where all 30 teams will be in action and all 15 games will be broadcast exclusively by NBC on its broadcast and streaming outlets.
The fourth game of the day, scheduled for just after 1:30 p.m. ET, is the rubber match in the weekend series between the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees.
The Yankees snapped a seven-game losing skid with a 5-3 win over the Twins, before falling 11-4 in an afternoon tilt on the Fourth of July.
