Clayton Kershaw could be on his way from a mound to a mic.

NBC is reportedly eyeing the future Hall of Famer for a studio analyst role as it gears up to broadcast MLB games in 2026.

According to The Athletic, the 37-year-old Kershaw is actually “a top” target for NBC. The outlet added the pitcher, who retired following the 2025 season, is being looked at to “work select events” this upcoming season.

NBC will show “Sunday Night Baseball” in ’26 as part of its new deal with MLB. It’s also slated to air the first round of the league’s postseason.

Kershaw has spent the last 18 years pitching for the Dodgers while accumulating one of the greatest resumes the sport’s ever season.

He finished with a 223-96 record, three Cy Youngs, two World Series rings, a 2.53 ERA and 3,052 strikeouts.

In November, at the Dodgers’ championship parade, Kershaw told media members he didn’t quite know how he was going to spend his days with his playing career now in the rearview mirror.

“I honestly have no idea,” he said. “I’m on the no-plan plan. I really don’t know what the next year, two years, five years looks like. It’s kinda scary, but it’s kind of a good thing too.”

In addition to Kershaw, The Athletic reported former Reds star Joey Votto is also being targeted by networks for a potential analyst role next season.
