Scholarship and Its Scope
The IceFire Initiative will include the establishment of a number of scholarships, which will be funded by the company. While tuition fees in Bangladesh are not incredibly expensive, they might be extremely expensive for families with very low incomes.
For the upcoming academic year, they will cover the tuition fees for four students who will be enrolled in a college to study English, web and graphic design, or internet marketing. In 2023 and 2024, they will repeat the process.
This will cover the cost of their tuition for the whole duration of their study. As a result, there will be a total of 12 students studying and earning IceFire Scholarships by the year 2024.
IceFire Initiative would also want to offer their Scholarship students the opportunity to gain paid job experience in their office setting.
So far, IceFire Initiative has given out one scholarship, which went to Arafat Mia, who will be joining the new intake to study English. He is presently employed as a trainee in IceFire’s Rangpur office, where he is getting valuable experience.
