Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were the victims of a burglary.
The Oscar winner and country singer’s Los Angeles home was broken into on Valentine’s Day, a law enforcement source told NBC News Feb. 18.
E! News confirmed that Kidman, Urban and their kids were not home during the burglary.
Around 8 p.m. on Feb. 14, one or more suspects smashed through the glass and ransacked the couple’s residence before fleeing the scene, according to NBC News, which cited the same law enforcement source. However, details on what property, if any, was stolen during the incident have not been revealed, per the outlet.
E! News reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department for comment but has not heard back.
One week before the robbery, Kidman—who shares daughters Sunday, 16, and Faith, 14, with Urban, as well as daughter Bella, 32, and son Conor, 30, with ex Tom Cruise—stepped out in Santa Monica, Calif., for the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, where she was nominated for Best Lead Actress for her performance in Babygirl. (Demi Moore wound up taking home the trophy in her category.)

And that’s just one example of the Big Little Lies alum’s busy schedule over the past several years. Since 2023, she’s also starred in projects like The Perfect Couple, Special Ops: Lioness and A Family Affair, as well as attended recent events like the 2025 Golden Globes and the National Board of Review Gala.
And to cope with her hectic career, Kidman previously emphasized how much she values being able to return home to her house and family.

“It feels a little unreal at times,” Kidman told Elle in a March 2024 interview. “I want to get out, take my dress off, and put my jammies on. It’s kind of like the opposite of Cinderella—I’m happy to go home and just go back to me.”
Noting that Hollywood can be “a little overwhelming,” she added, “I’m like, ‘I need to go home now. I’m very tired. I want to get warm, and I want to curl up, and I want to feel real.’”
