BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Open Door Network will be hosting a Pie Drive for Thanksgiving today at the Compassion Corner and Lauren Skidmore joined 17 News at Sunrise to talk more about the local fundraiser event.

Proceeds will go directly to kids in need of food, clothing, and basic hygienic products, according to Skidmore.

This Pie Drive is also the perfect opportunity to contribute to giving back to the city’s most vulnerable families.
