The Rams will head north to Seattle to take on the Seahawks during Sunday night’s NFC Championship game.

These two teams have already faced off twice this season in a pair of hard-fought one-score contests, with the home team taking both games.

While there’s a lot to take away from those regular season games, one thing was abundantly clear when these teams butted-heads: Sam Darnold has a hard time taking care of the ball against these Rams.

In their first match up in Los Angeles on Nov. 16, Darnold threw four interceptions, a season-high, during a 21-19 loss.

It wasn’t much better when the Rams came to town.

In an overtime win a little over a month ago, Darnold threw two picks in what now seems to be a trend for the Seahawks quarterback.

And it’s not like Darnold was super careful throwing the pigskin against other teams.

Overall, Darnold’s 14 interceptions were the third-most in the league.

Last year with the Vikings, he was only slightly better, tossing 12 picks, which were the fourth-most among all quarterbacks.

The Seahawks have had a pass-happy attack in the two matchups against the Rams this season, with Darnold averaging 39 pass attempts per game.

If the playbook is similar on Sunday, the Rams will have enough chances to force a takeaway from Darnold.

Betting on the NFL?

The Seahawks’ defense is enough to come out on top even with a couple of turnovers from Darnold, but quarterback remains the biggest weakness for this team.
