One of Food Network’s all-time favorite couples celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on Sunday, September 21!Pioneer Womanstar Ree Drummond, 56, and her longtime husband Ladd Drummond, 56, hit the 29-year milestone of their marriage, but they had to celebrate the special day from “separate states.”
“It’s just our 29th, so we aren’t too worked up that we’re in separate states today,” the mom of four wrote alongside two photos with her life partner on Instagram: one from their wedding day in 1996, and one more recently. “If those two kids only knew what was ahead… Happy anniversary, honey. WHAT A RIDE, MAN!!!”

Though they had to celebrate this milestone apart, it sounds like Ree and Ladd have big plans for their 30th anniversary in 2026. “God willing and the creek don’t rise, we’ll be somewhere in Europe for our 30th,” she said. “We had to shake on it recently, because we know our homebody selves too well and something always comes up!”

The couple’s daughter, Alex Drummond Scott, sent love in the comments, writing, “happy anni!!!! From your honeymoon baby,” with laughing and heart emojis, while daughter Paige Drummond added, “Happy anni!! Love you guys so much.”
Fans were also touched by the sweet message, with one saying, “Congratulations, you two. Happy Anniversary! And btw…ya’ll deserve a vacation!!!” Another agreed, writing, “Yall are so stinkin’ cute! I love you two. Congrats on all your hard work & dedication to each other.”

Ree wasn’t able to spend the anniversary with her husband because she’s busy launching a new clothing brand on QVC called “Ree by The Pioneer Woman,” and she traveled out to Pennsylvania for the line’s premiere.

“Paige and I are heading to ‘The Q’ this Sunday and Monday, where I get to wear and talk about the details of each piece,” she posted on Instagram on September 18. “It’s going to be beautiful!! So excited!” Paige responded. She also announced a new Essential Recipes cookbook coming soon, so she’s a busy woman!
