Ryan Destiny is ready to be a star on her wedding day.

The Fire Inside actress admitted she’s “still taking it all in” after getting engaged to Keith Powers, but she has already begun planning their upcoming nuptials.

As Ryan exclusively shared with E! News at the Critics Choice Association’s 8th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema and Television in Los Angeles Dec. 9, she is keeping busy “trying to also balance life with also trying to get married.”

“It’s been a process,” the 30-year-old continued. “I’m enjoying it.”

The Star alum added that she is trying to be “patient” with the planning, while also be “on it” when it comes to making sure all the details are taken care of.

Ryan and Keith first announced their engagement in October, sharing a romantic photoshoot in a joint Instagram post and writing in the caption, “Engaged to the love of my life.”

And the couple were extremely touched by all the kind words they received, with Keith, 33, writing on his Instagram Story at the time, “Thank you for all the beautiful messages and love. Truly. A whirlwind of love all around.”

Ryan also gave a special shoutout to their photographer for “going on a literal quest with us.”

“Not your normal engagement shoot,” the Oracle actress wrote. “Some of the most patient, kind, talented & beautiful humans I know. Appreciate you so much.”

Their journey hasn’t been without its road blocks. Ryan and Keith first met in 2015, but didn’t officially begin dating until 2018. Then, the couple split in 2022 after four years together; however, they confirmed they had rekindled their romance earlier this year.

And for Ryan, being with Keith has been a dream.

“I just love him so much and I just appreciate him every step of the way,” she told People in February. “He’s such a cheerleader for me, as I am for him. It just means everything.”

Similarly, Keith has his own feelings on their rekindled romance.

“It’s just like we’re so locked in and we just get each other’s jokes and it’s just easy,” the Perfect Find actor shared with People in May. “We just flow honestly.”

He added, “She teaches me a lot. I don’t know if I teach her stuff, but she teaches me so much. She’s made me a better artist, so it’s been great.”
