Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have welcomed a new family member in the form of a cute dog.
Hitch and Holy Motors actor Mendes shares the news on Instagram, posting a video introducing the grey Goldendoodle to the world.
In the compilation of clips, Mendes gets ready to pose for a glamorous photoshoot, but the adorable pupper isn’t bothered and just wants a lie down.
“Meet the newest member of our family …Magic!!!” she wrote. “We adopted her from this amazing organization [California Doodle Rescues].

“More to come… I’m crazy about her and excited to share life with Magic with you,” she added.
Appropriately, she posted the upload alongside the song ‘Magic’ by Pilot.
Mendes and Gosling started dating in 2011, when they were both filming The Place Beyond the Pines together. They welcomed two daughters, Esmeralda and Amada, in 2014 and 2016.
The two generally keep their private lives private, but earlier this year she publicly reacted to his viral meme from the Critics’ Choice Award, when his song ‘I’m Just Ken’ from the Barbie movie won the Best Song award.

Mendes has explained why she prefers to keep her private life out the spotlight, writing on Instagram in 2020: “I’ll talk about [my family] of course, with limits, but I won’t post pictures of our daily life. And since my children are still so little and don’t understand what posting their image really means, I don’t have their consent. And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give me consent.
“As far as Ryan and I, it just works for us this way, to stay private.”
