A note from Scott: Happy New Year!
2025 kicked off with a bang. The Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Awards Gala took place Jan. 3 (see my analysis here). The Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held on Jan. 5 (see my analysis here). And, less than 48 hours from now, Oscar nominations voting will begin, running from 9 a.m. PT on Wednesday through 5 p.m. PT on Sunday (hours after which the Critics Choice Awards ceremony will be held in Santa Monica).
