Taylor Swift is so famous, she can’t just leave a restaurant the normal way — sometimes, she has to exit through the kitchen to avoid the paparazzi.
Nearly 1-year-old footage of the pop star escaping Spago with friends Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell is now circulating online. On Sunday, November 24, a fan posted a TikTok of the trio being escorted out of the Los Angeles hotspot via the kitchen, and thanking employees after dinner there in January 2024.
As three men walked them to the back door, Swift, 34, turned around and smiled at unseen staffers documenting the scene near a stack of plastic dish tubs.
“Thank you so much!” said the singer, sporting a black minidress and black stiletto boots.
Mahomes, 29, wore a similar black ensemble, and Bell, 33, opted for an off-white dress paired with a black leather coat. Respectively, the two are the wives of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Blake Bell. And Swift, of course, has been dating the team’s tight end Travis Kelce since the summer of 2023.
Swift and Mahomes sparked a friendship when the “Anti-Hero” singer began attending Chiefs games in the VIP suite last year.

“They have a really genuine friendship and love hanging out at the games together and cheering on their men,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this year. “Brittany loves that Taylor is dating Travis, and she’s so supportive of their relationship. They have a very similar sense of humor and are always cracking jokes and laughing.”
Mahomes has frequently been seated next to Swift at Chiefs home and away games, with the two women enthusiastically cheering (and sharing secret handshakes) whenever their partners completed a pass or scored a touchdown.
Their friendship also extends beyond sports outings, with Swift inviting Mahomes to her girls’ nights out on the town as well as to an A-list party at her Rhode Island mansion over the summer.
Mahomes announced in July that she and husband Patrick are expecting their third baby. The couple share 3-year-old daughter Sterling and son Bronze, who turns 2 on Thanksgiving Day.
In October, Swift, Mahomes and Bell posed in a suite while the Chiefs took on the New Orleans Saints. “Same girls, new bump,” Mahomes captioned a series of Instagram photos. In one snap, Swift and Bell held onto their drinks in one hand and held Mahomes’ baby bump in the other.
Swift missed Kelce’s away game on Sunday, November 24 as she had just wrapped the sixth and final show of her Eras Tour stint in Toronto on Saturday, November 23. She will not hit the stage again until Friday, December 6, in Vancouver.
