Chelsea Lazkani is officially a single woman amid her messy divorce from estranged husband Jeff Lazkani.

A California judge declared the exes legally single on Tuesday, December 10, according to court docs obtained by Us Weekly. The ruling comes one day after Chelsea, 31, and Jeff, 41, filed new paperwork agreeing to terminate their spousal status while continuing to work out further details of their divorce.

Us confirmed in March that Chelsea filed to end her marriage to Jeff after seven years, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. At the time, Chelsea asked for spousal support and requested joint physical and legal custody of their two children, Maddox, 5, and Melia, 4.

The couple met on Tinder in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. Netflix fans were introduced to the pair when Chelsea joined the season 5 cast of Selling Sunset in 2022. Following news of their divorce earlier this year, a source exclusively told Us that Chelsea believed Jeff was “unfaithful in their marriage.” (Us reached out to Jeff at the time.)

The pair’s breakup was documented on season 8 of Selling Sunset, which premiered on Netflix in September. Bre Tiesi’s friend Amanda Lynn claimed on camera that Jeff was seen getting cozy with another woman. Unhappy that her relationship was discussed on the show, Chelsea later accused Tiesi, 33, of using the cheating rumors for a story line.

“Pt 1: Outside of filming Amanda contacted Bre about ‘tea’ – while filming, Bre orchestrated a fake call during her showing which led to a sit down scene with Amanda,” Chelsea wrote via X in September. “In other words: she set this scene up with production, already knowing said tea to bring it to tv.” (Tiesi denied having prior knowledge of the alleged infidelity.)

Chelsea exclusively opened up to Us about her divorce one month later, admitting she didn’t know how she “made it through” filming Selling Sunset season 8. “But being on the other side, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I am so glad to be here.’ Because I didn’t think I’d be here at all, to be honest,” she shared.

With season 9 in production, Chelsea and Jeff’s divorce might continue to play out on the small screen.

Jeff previously filed court documents in October requesting he and the reality star be declared legally separated. “[It will] help better focus on our children and dividing our assets,” his motion read.

While an insider exclusively told Us in November that Chelsea was “eager to terminate this marriage as soon as possible,” Jeff later claimed his ex was engaging in “delay tactics.” He alleged in legal docs earlier this month that Chelsea requested to be named the sole beneficiary of closed bank accounts and wants compensation for tax liabilities despite filing separate taxes.

“I do not believe that the passage of time, counseling or any other assistance by the Court can save our marriage. Under no circumstances do I believe [Chelsea] and I could resolve our issues and reunify,” the docs read. “In fact, [she] has utilized tactics against me publicly and has been untruthful about allegations made about me publicly, to the detriment of our ability to communicate, which I hope will eventually be resolved so amends could be made for the wellbeing of our children.”
