Summer House star Jesse Solomon is entering the chat after costars West Wilson and Amanda Batula confirmed their romance.

“I heard the rumors, but they were denied to me multiple times,” Jesse, 32, wrote in an Instagram comment on Wednesday, April 1.

The reality star was replying to a photo shared by a fan account which showed Jesse beside West, 31, mirrored with an image of Vanderpump RulesTom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval.

“I just need to know if Jesse was the Schwartz to West’s Sandoval or not,” text over the image read, referring to the cheating scandal that rocked Vanderpump Rules in 2023. (Sandoval and costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss had an affair while he was in a relationship with Ariana Madix.)

One day before Jesse’s comment, West and Amanda, 34, made headlines when they confirmed their friendship had turned into a romantic relationship.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” Amanda and West wrote in a joint Instagram Story statement on Tuesday, March 31. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

The statement was released after Summer House fans watched West flirt with his ex Ciara Miller on season 10 of the Bravo show and after Amanda and Kyle Cooke announced their separation in January. (Jesse also attempted to make a move on Ciara during season 10, asking West for permission to make out with her.)

“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” Amanda and West continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”

The statement concluded, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Jesse is not the only Summer House cast member who’s weighed in on the drama. Kyle, for his part, shared in a TikTok video uploaded on Wednesday by street journalist Adam Glyn that he appreciated “people checking in” and is “actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest.”

“I just feel bad,” Kyle said. “Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not [doing] well.”
