Taylor Swift fans are at it again, and this time their theory focuses on Travis Kelce’s connection to a particular Evermore song.

After Swift, 34, sang “Cowboy Like Me” as one of her surprise songs during the second night of her three-day stint at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis one Swiftie took to X with some speculation about the song’s meaning.

“Taylor’s sung ‘cowboy like me’ with Travis in the audience on three occasions: Singapore, Amsterdam, and Indianapolis,” the fan wrote on Sunday, November 3, sharing video footage from all the performances. “That song is theirs; I don’t make the rules.”

Fans were quick to agree with the original poster.

“Makes me think Trav is an evermore guy,” one social media user responded. A second chimed in, writing, “Absolutely! It really feels like their song, especially with those moments. It’s amazing how personal performances can be!”

Swift first performed “Cowboy Like Me” during her second Las Vegas show in March 2023, which was months before she and Kelce, 35, started dating. At the time, the musician paired it with “White Horse” from Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

Swift and Kelce took their romance public in September 2023, and she left “Cowboy Like Me” off the surprise song list for months. The second time she played the song was this past March in Singapore — when Kelce was in the crowd.

During a July Eras Tour show in Amsterdam, Swift included the Evermore song again — and, yes, Kelce was there too.

The most recent “Cowboy Like Me” performance was, of course, in Indianapolis on Saturday, November 2. And that song wasn’t the only nod to Kelce throughout Swift’s show.

During “So High School” in the Tortured Poets Department era, Swift pantomimed her boyfriend’s signature archer pose. She also wore her Kansas City Chiefs-colored outfit during the 1989 set and, as expected, changed the “Karma” lyric to “karma is the guy on the Chiefs,” as a nod to her man.

Kelce kept a low profile during his appearance at the Indianapolis show (except at the end of the show when he was seen backstage), wearing an all-black outfit and hanging out in the VIP tent. However, former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky was quick to confirm that the football star was present.

“Travis Kelce just walked by me and [my daughter] Molly,” she shared via Instagram Stories on Saturday. “And yes, the song means we lasted till the very end! Goins [sic] hang til the end to support our girl.”
