Taylor Swift shared the “weird and silly” quirk she shares with her BFF, Abigail Anderson, that her husband, Travis Kelce, simply has to live with.

On Sunday, November 1, the Grammy winner, 36, participated in a special Q&A following a New York City screening of Toy Story 5 alongside the film’s director, Andrew Stanton. (Swift provided the soundtrack for the animated movie with her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “I Knew It, I Knew You.”)

During the Q&A, Swift shared how she was able to relate to the fictional friendship between 8-year-old Bonnie (voiced by Scarlett Spears), who is the current owner of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and company, and new character Blaze (voiced by Mykal-Michelle Harris), recalling how she met Anderson as a teenager.

“I’d like to pile on to what Andrew was saying about finding someone who is the same genre of weird and silly as you are and just why Bonnie and Blaze’s story resonated with me so much,” she said, per a video clip posted via X.

Swift continued, “When I moved to Nashville when I was 14, you’re the new kid in school [and] you’re like, ‘Who should I be friends with? These girls are cool. These girls are cool. These are nice girls.’ But there was one girl named Abigail — she even has curly hair like Blaze — and the two of us, all we wanted to do was talk in Napoleon Dynamite voices.”

The “Patient Zero” singer said that “we still do this, and it’s something our husbands have to put up with.”

“It’s just, ‘What are you doing today?’ ‘I don’t know. What are you doing? Are you playing with your cute kid?’” she shared. “‘Yeah, I am. What’s the problem with that?’ When you find that person that completely sees you for the strange little genre that is you at your purest, that hit me so hard watching the film.”

Swift married Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce, 37, in a lavish July 3 wedding at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, which Adam Sandler officiated. (Anderson, meanwhile, wed Charles “Charlie” Berard in September 2022. They welcomed son Bennett in August 2024.)

“[The] wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” Kelce told reporters in August. “That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”

“MSG, man, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the [New York] Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp,” he added. “I didn’t get the opportunity to go then, so it’s kind of cool to get to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.”
