It should be a classic clash of styles. UT touts the SEC’s best defense. Alabama has the league’s best offense.
Containing Alabama guard Mark Sears should be UT’s top priority. He is second in the SEC in scoring at 19 points per game.
The Vols need Chaz Lanier to remain hot to match the Tide’s pace. He’s averaged 22 points over the past three games and made 13 of 26 3-pointers in that stretch.
