When John Harbaugh walked in the front door at 1925 Giants Drive on Wednesday, to his left, behind a glass case, were four Lombardi Trophies, one for each of the Super Bowls the Giants have earned in franchise history.

That likely impressed Harbaugh. As he toured the team facility, though, Harbaugh would have had every reason to think “Is this it?’’

The Giants have headquartered since 2010 at Quest Diagnostics Training Facility, an understated brick building within the Meadowlands Sports Complex that was state of the art at the time, but certainly not overly large or luxurious when compared with other NFL practice venues.

That is all going to change, though, and part of the presentation to lure Harbaugh as the Giants head coach was to show him the extensive renovation plans that are already underway.
