What has motivational speaker, Mel Robbins, already achieved in the New Year?

The launch of her first consumer product — pocket-sized, 100-calorie protein shots made without any added sugars or artificial ingredients.

The best-selling author of “The Let Them Theory” and Golden Globe-nominated host of The Mel Robbins Podcast took to Instagram earlier this morning to announce the launch of Pure Genius Protein in three fruit-forward flavors: Blueberry Lemonade, Strawberry Guava and Pineapple.

“I’m terrible at secrets, and I’ve been keeping a secret from you for a year,” Robbins shared in her video. “I am launching a new company. It is called Pure Genius Protein… this is the first product I’ve ever launched, I’ve been working on this for over a year.”

Robbins said that she worked alongside a team of experts in medicine, nutrition and scientific innovation to develop the unique Pure Genius formula. The first-of-its-kind shot packs 23 grams of complete isolated whey protein and amino-fortified collagen into a convenient 3.38 ounce bottle — designed to take anywhere.

“Protein isn’t just for building muscles in the gym; it’s the fuel that you need to live a healthy life,” added Robbins, who admitted that she has previously struggled to reach her protein goals while balancing a jam-packed meeting schedule and frequent travel.

Plenty of Americans struggle to meet their protein goals. Research indicates that women and seniors are consuming significantly less protein than younger adults. One 2019 study revealed that nearly half of older adults were not meeting their daily protein intake recommendation.

“There is absolutely nothing like this available in the market today,” Robbins shared in a Jan. 5 press release. “I’m very proud that we have created an entirely new way to get high-quality protein on the go and have made it shockingly delicious.”

A pack of 12 protein shots is currently available for $48. According to the Pure Genius Protein website, orders are expected to ship within a week due to high demand.
