The writing was on the wall for Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump, who The Post confirmed are quietly dating and taking things slow after their friendship blossomed into “something more.”
The golf legend, 49, and Vanessa, 47, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., have quite a lot in common, including that they both live in Palm Beach, Fla.
Vanessa’s daughter Kai, 17, and Woods’ son Charlie, 16, and daughter Sam, 17, are enrolled at The Benjamin School, a private institution with a $38,595 tuition for grades 9-12.
Earlier this month, Woods supported Sam, a captain on the varsity girls soccer team, as the Buccaneers defeated the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, 1-0, to win the Florida 2A FHSAA state championship .
Woods was seen with Vanessa and Kai, who’s on the golf team the University of Miami, at various events last month.
The mother-daughter duo watched Woods compete at an event for the Tomorrow’s Golf League in Florida, as seen in a video posted to Kai’s Instagram.
Woods and Rory McIlroy founded the new indoor golf league, which combines advanced technology with teams of top players from the Tour for two-hour weekly competitions.
Vanessa and Kai were also photographed walking with Woods while at the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, Calif. on Feb. 16.
Vanessa follows Woods on Instagram, as well as two fan accounts for the pro golfer.
She’s also liked a number of Woods’ posts.
Woods has ties to the Trump family, as he is friends with President Donald Trump.
The pair, along with Woods’ son Charlie, enjoyed a round of golf at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach earlier this month.
Woods spoke alongside Trump during a reception honoring Black History Month in the East Room of the White House on Feb. 20 in Washington, DC.
Woods and Vanessa are taking things slow, a source told The Post, adding that they have a lot in common with each other.
“They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny,” the source said. “They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents.
“They’re taking it slow but I could see this becoming something really serious and permanent.
“She’s not starstruck my him — she’d date him even if he weren’t famous. Fame doesn’t interest her; that’s what he likes best about her.
“But it’s not too serious, it’s heading in that direction, though.”
Woods and Vanessa have been dating since Thanksgiving, according to the Daily Mail, which was first to report the relationship news — adding that members of the Trump family, including Vanessa and Don Jr.’s five children, knew about her relationship with Woods.
Vanessa and Trump Jr. were married for 13 years before they divorced in 2018.
Woods’ infidelity scandal with his ex-wife, former Swedish model Elin Nordegren played out in the public eye and nearly destroyed his career.
They were married for six years before their 2010 divorce.
The news came as the 15-time major champion announced Tuesday that he underwent surgery after rupturing his left Achilles tendon while training at home.
“As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured,” Woods said in a statement posted on social media. “This morning, Dr. Charlton Stucken of Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida performed a minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon.’’
Woods said he was back at home in Jupiter, Fla., and plans to “focus on my recovery and rehab.”
The PGA Tour star hasn’t played a tournament since last July in the 2024 British Open, at which he missed the cut.
Last month, Woods withdrew from the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines and said he wasn’t ready to compete following his mother Kultida Woods’ death on Feb. 4.
