In calendar year 2025, the Rangers endured their worst year in some time.
The statistics, streaks and records set for all the wrong reasons reveal just how tough the last 365 days have been for the organization, but so much of what’s gone on can’t be quantified. That is probably the most concerning aspect of the way this last year has gone for the Blueshirts.
It’s been a period of significant change. One that has cast uncertainty over the direction of the franchise.
Rangers president and general manager Chris Drury has his work cut out for him moving forward. To have a year as poor as this one, with the Stanley Cup drought about to reach 32 years, the gravity of his next moves are immeasurable.
