Jennifer Lawrence’s first red-carpet looks date all the way back to 2007, when the young actress was still a rising star. From her silky blue Venice Film Festival gown to several one-shoulder minidresses, her early fashion statements were sweet and era-defining—a nostalgic blend of teenage trends and designer pulls.

Along the way, as Lawrence grew into leading roles and her The Hunger Games days, her style evolved alongside her—leaning into bold silhouettes crafted from metallic gold and red hues with plunging necklines and open backs. The grand finale? Her double whammy of award ceremony looks in early 2013.

From there, she cut her hair short and leaned into darker, grungier moments, before going for elegant glam on the carpets, and effortless chic style on the streets, during her pregnancies and young motherhood. Throughout it all, a few staples have appeared time and time again in her wardrobe, from leopard print and sculptural elements to Dior bags and cozy, luxurious knits from her favorite brand, the Row.

Ahead, see Lawrence’s full style evolution through 50 of her best looks.
