TikTok star Marcel Johnson has died after a battle with stage IV stomach cancer. He was 32.

“November 2 2026 @ 445pm. I lost a whole entire half of me,” Johnson’s wife, Taylor, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 3. “He fought so hard for so long. He was so tired & exhausted & in so much pain. Yesterday the only words Marcel said all day were to me & Dedric and it was ‘I’m ready to go’ and that was in the morning. He still fought to hang on all day so we just got a bit more time.”

Alongside the message, Taylor shared a series of photos of the couple through the years, some of which included their five children.

“I truly don’t even have words right now,” she continued. “I feel like this can’t be real life. How can this be real f***ing life. I thought I was going to wake up and he was still going to be here beside me. I love him with my whole entire being and life will absolutely never ever be the same. @celnoshell.”

While a GoFundMe was previously created to support Johnson financially during his cancer battle, the fundraiser is now being used to help his family in the wake of his death. More than $370,000 has been raised at the time of publication.

“Hi everyone, as you probably know now, Marcel has passed away after a long and tough battle of Stage 4 Stomach Cancer,” a message read on the GoFundMe page. “He beat the odds the doctor gave him but ultimately he was at peace and ready to not be in pain.”

The statement continued, “We are now raising money for Taylor and their beautiful five boys during this rough time. Anything is appreciated! ❤️.”

Johnson was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer in August 2025 and chronicled his journey via social media for more than 200,000 Instagram followers. He underwent 25 rounds of chemotherapy before ceasing treatment in September.

“Update, no more chemo, I’m too weak for treatment,” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “Update 2. Hopice [sic] has been calling everyday to ask I’m I’m ready bedtime [sic] have no more options. Update 3 if I can make it to Oct 15 and strong enough to travel I’ll go to my appointment at city of hope in Cali. But I gotta make it there first 💪🏽🙏🏽.”

The next month, Johnson and Taylor uploaded an Instagram video of themselves flying on a private plane to the City of Hope Medical Center in California. Days later, Johnson shared via Instagram he was returning home and “got some answers” that he “needed.”
