President Trump, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, and their entourage have come onto the field to deliver the golden World Cup trophy to Spain after La Roja’s epic 1–0 victory over Argentina in the final.
Match officials were given their medals first by Trump and Infantino, who shook their hands.
Then Trump, Infantino, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney began handing out the medals and trophies to Spain’s champion team.
Afterward, they gave the awards to Argentina for being the runner-up.
