This week, our 45th and 47th president will return to Iowa — a state he won by historic margins three elections in a row. We would vote for him three more times if we could. Iowans understand that President Donald Trump is the most consequential president of our lifetimes. In fact, he’s the most consequential president ever.

Trump inherited one of the worst messes in American history: record inflation, a nonexistent southern border, energy subordination, and a fast-approaching World War III. Within the president’s first 100 days he completely stopped illegal border crossings, mitigated inflation, restored American energy dominance, and restored peace in the world. Trump eviscerated President Joe Biden’s disaster with mythical speed, paving the way for America’s golden age.

Eighteen months ago, the president won the Iowa Caucuses by a whopping 30-point margin. This commanding victory started a wave of momentum, leading to a sweep in the Republican primary and a landslide win in the general election. Trump won the popular vote by an astounding margin, decisively winning all seven swing states.

Until Trump, no Republican candidate had ever won the youth vote. But in 2024, the President’s large coalition included a record amount of young voters (18-29). This was not a fluke. Young people understood that Trump delivers on their issues better than anyone else. We remembered the president’s first term, when inflation was non-existent, wages were high and houses were more affordable. Biden’s neglect made life demonstrably worse for young people. We found it harder to purchase groceries, find work, and afford rent. Biden’s sleep-walk toward World War III caused angst and worry among young men of draft age. Fast forward to July 2025. Groceries are affordable again, housing costs are moderating, and ongoing wars and bloodshed are coming to an end.

On the national stage, America’s enemies are left reeling and rudderless. Trump’s foreign policy has proven surgical, focused, and effective. His predecessors couldn’t have dreamed of such success. We are not wasting blood and gold in distant, far-off countries. We are putting America first and establishing American dominance.

Trump’s record has left him untouchable — it’s driven by young voters who agree with him on policy and style.

Now Trump returns to where it all began, the state that’s delivered some of his biggest wins. Trump’s message this week will be crystal clear: the America First victory lap has only just begun.
