Twilight star Cam Gigandet was ordered to pay additional child support to his ex-wife, Dominique Gigandet, months after she accused him of leaving California without their kids, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Wednesday, January 7, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered that Cam’s monthly support payments will increase from $4,626 per month to $5,540 per month. Dominique was present for the hearing, but Cam did not attend, per court docs.

Cam and Dominique, who wed in 2008 and split in 2022, share three children: Everleigh, 16, Rekker, 12, and Armie, 9.

The exes were ordered to both maintain health insurance. Cam, 43, will have to cover 70 percent of any unreimbursed health-related costs.

The child support decision comes months after Dominique accused the actor of moving to Texas and leaving her to take care of their kids full-time.

In June 2025, Dominique told the court that Cam was no longer sharing joint custody because he moved away on May 2, 2025. At the time, Dominique said, “So as of right now, I have 100 percent custody.”

In her filing, Dominique listed herself as a self-employed graphic designer and spray tan artist. She claimed she was “starting life over” after the divorce from Cam.

In court docs, she listed her income as varying widely from month to month. She said her monthly expenses were around $5,870, but third parties covered around $4,000 of those expenses.

As Us previously reported, Cam and Dominique reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, where they had agreed to share custody. The actor agreed to pay spousal support, which is based on his annual income, per the deal.

In early 2023, Cam announced he was dating an actress named Hannah James.

The two revealed they were expecting their first kid in September 2024. Cam posted a photo of a pregnant James captioned, “I could have absolutely nothing and still feel like the luckiest man in the world. I don’t know what the future is going to look like for us and for perhaps the first time, I am okay with that. For now I’ll just keep on doing what I do best, loving Hannah… and being Dad to 3, soon to be 4.”

James posted a photo of the couple’s newborn son, Dare Wylder James Gigandet, in January 2025.

“Dare, Dare Bear, Darius Barius, D Bear, Little Bear, Bob, we love you so much your list of nicknames grows by the day. You made a ‘tricky’ 2024 worth every drop of blood sweat and tears,” the new mom wrote.

In a December 2025 post, James shared a video of their son noting, “Cam has this unexpected way of being rather perceptive, (at times) said this during my most recent decent into despair… The one thing that is progressing every single day — without effort or permission — is our son.”

Cam hit it big in the role as James in 2008’s Twilight, costarring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The actor’s other film credits include Burlesque with Cher and Christina Aguilera, The Magnificent Seven directed by Antoine Fuqua and Easy A with Emma Stone.

Cam recently appeared in the hit Netflix show The Hunting Wives and did an eight-episode gig on a TV show, Second Chances.
