Kansas City Chiefs president Mark Donovan addressed a rumor that Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce is all a clever marketing ploy. When asked during a recent interview whether the power couple’s connection was scripted, Donovan quickly brushed off the theory. “It is an authentic relationship and we’re happy to have it,” he said, adding that the pair’s romance has been “nothing but good” for the Chiefs franchise. “I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it’s had on us is: Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs Kingdom.
