Tennessee (2-0) tipped off its 2024-25 men’s college basketball season with two wins during the first week of play.

The Vols defeated Gardner-Webb, 80-64, on Nov. 4 at Food City Center. Tennessee was also victorious, 77-55, at Louisville on Nov. 9.

Tennessee will return to action on Wednesday versus Montana. Tipoff between the Vols and Grizzlies is slated for 7 p.m. EST and can be watched on SEC Network+.

Following the first week of the 2024-25 college basketball season, the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll was released. Tennessee was ranked No. 12 during the preseason and are up three spots to No. 9 after two games.
