The Jacksonville Jaguars might be playing the Minnesota Vikings today seeking to snap their two-game losing skid without their starting quarterback.

Trevor Lawrence injured his left shoulder during the Jaguars’ 28-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week. He ran in both of the offensive touchdowns for the Jags (2-7) in the game; Travon Walker returned a fumble for the other one. If Lawrence can’t go today, Jacksonville native Mac Jones will start his first game since being traded from the New England Patriots.

The Vikings (6-2) ended their two-game slide with a 21-13 over the Indianapolis Colts last week. Quarterback Sam Darnold threw for three touchdowns, and somehow none went to star receiver Justin Jefferson, who had 137 yards on the day. Running back Aaron Jones will be running behind tackle Cam Robinson, whom the Jaguars traded two weeks ago.
