One of the best college football rivalries on the West Coast returns on Saturday — albeit in a new conference.
UCLA (4-6, 3-5 Big Ten) hosts in-state rival USC (5-5, 3-5) in the first-ever Big Ten matchup between the programs at 10:30 p.m. ET (7:30 p.m. PT) from the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. While this matchup has featured potential conference championship winners in previous games, that won’t be the case in 2024, as both teams have struggled this season.
The Bruins are coming off a 31-19 loss to Washington and need to win out in the first year under coach DeShaun Foster to reach bowl eligibility. Meanwhile, the Trojans have not performed much better despite being in Year 3 under Lincoln Riley. USC is just 3-5 following a 2-0 start to the season, which included a win over what was then a ranked LSU team.
