To celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Spongebob Squarepants,” the fast-food chain is teaming up with Paramount with the “Krabby Patty Kollab” that will be available at Wendy’s nationwide on Oct. 8
What is Wendy’s ‘Krabby Patty Kollab’?
The “Kollab” features two menu items that will be available at Wendy’s for a limited time: the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.
The Krabby Patty Kollab Burger is the restaurant’s take on the famous burger. It features a quarter pound of beef, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and, of course, “a top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce,” all on a toasted bun.
The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty is a first-of-its-kind flavor for the restaurant: a vanilla frosty with a pineapple mango puree swirled in.
When is the Wendy’s x ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ meal available?
“Spongebob Squarepants” originally premiered on Nickelodeon in 1999. According to a news release, the collaboration between Wendy’s and Paramount is the first time the fictionalized Krabby Patty will appear on food menus in the real world.
Both menu items will be available at Wendy’s in the U.S. on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
