Well, this looks awfully familiar.

The NBA announced their starting lineups for the 2025 All-Star Game at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Sunday, Feb. 16 and all ten players selected are making repeat appearances.

Leading the pack in the Western Conference is the Lakers’ LeBron James who secured his record-breaking 21st All-Star Game nod. He’s joined by the Suns’ Kevin Durant (15th selection), hometown hero Steph Curry of the Warriors (11th selection), the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić (seventh selection) and the Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (third selection).

The Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo (ninth selection), the Celtics’ Jayson Tatum (sixth selection), the Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell (sixth selection) and the Knicks Karl-Anthony Towns (fifth selection) and Jalen Brunson (second selection) were the Eastern Conference players fans voted in.

This All-Star Game will mark the fourth time the Warriors have hosted. However, because the team has moved around so much over the years, the 2025 showdown will be the first time the game officially takes place in San Francisco. In 1960, the ASG was held in Philadelphia when the team resided there; seven years later, the best in basketball met in Daly City, CA. Most recently, the Warriors invited the NBA’s elite to Oakland’s The Arena in Oakland in 2000.

Also, of note, the 2025 All-Star Game won’t be your standard Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference matchup. Instead, the NBA will crib from the Rising Stars Challenge playbook and employ a four-team tournament format with rosters handpicked by Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith. The fourth team? That’s the squad that wins the Rising Stars Challenge and will be overseen by honorary general manager Candace Parker.

Four games in total — two semi-finals and a championship — go down on Feb. 16. First to 40 points in each contest wins.

Oklahoma City Thunder coach Mark Daigneault and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kenny Atkinson have been tapped to lead two of the four rosters. Thunder and Cavs assistant coaches will handle coaching duties for the other two teams.

Phew. That was a mouthful.

If you want to be there for this unique set of games featuring elite hoopers, tickets are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for the game was $1,333 including fees on Vivid Seats.

100-level seats start at $4,493.12 including fees.

Too rich for your blood?

That’s ok. The Dunk Contest, Celebrity Game and so many more All-Star Weekend events are going down in San Fran in mid-February.

NBA Dunk Contest 2025

Saturday night is when things pick up on All-Star Weekend.

The annual skills challenge — made up of the Dunk Contest, Three-Point Contest and, of course, the Skills Challenge — generally draw more “oohs, ahhs, and whoas” than the actual games.

Contestants at the Dunk Contest this year include Stephon Castle (San Antonio Spurs), Matas Buzelis (Chicago Bulls), and Andre Jackson Jr. (Milwaukee Bucks). More names will be announced in the coming weeks.

To see the highest fliers, sharpest shooters and crispest passers at the Warriors’ Chase Center, tickets start at $1,624 including fees.

NBA Celebrity Game 2025

Although we don’t know who will take the floor for this year’s celebrity game, we’d guess it’ll be a mishmash of rappers, former NBA players, current NFL stars, Backstreet Boys and comedians based on rosters from years past.

If this sounds like your idea of goofy hoops fun, you can scoop up seats for $135 including fees.

NBA Rookie Game 2025

Friday night’s Rising Stars Challenge, aka the Rookie Game, is where the league’s most talented first and second-year players compete for bragging rights…and now a chance to take on the All-Stars.

Tickets can be snagged for $135 including fees to see the future stars before they become household names.

Hoping to sit in the lower-level?

We found tickets priced at $496.12 including fees.

As of now, rosters have not been announced for the Rising Stars Challenge.

NBA All-Star Practice

If the Sunday tourney is a bit too steep a price, you can still catch all the NBA’s best and brightest at Saturday’s afternoon practice at the Oakland Arena aka the home of the 2000 All-Star Game.

For just $71 including fees you can watch LeBron post up, Nikola go iso on Shai and any other number of hypothetical plays that Daigneault and Atkinson dream up.

Lower-level seats will run you $156 including fees.

How to watch the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities

If you can’t make it out to Frisco this year, it’s no biggie.

You can catch the All-Star game, Rising Stars Challenge and All-Star Saturday Night on TNT.

ESPN will broadcast the Celebrity Game.
