Food and loved ones aren’t the only things to enjoy and be grateful for this Thanksgiving — Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is celebrating its 98th year!

This year’s lineup is slated to showcase the following:

The anchors of NBC’s “Today” show, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker, will continue their reign as the telecast’s hosts.

Disney legend Minnie Mouse will debut her own 60-foot balloon at this year’s parade joining Mickey Mouse, whose balloon debut was in 1934, Pluto (1934), Donald Duck (1935) and Goofy (1992).

Macy’s is “super excited about bringing Minnie to life,” Will Coss, executive producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, told USA TODAY last month. “It has been a Macy’s Studios dream for quite some time, and the folks here on my team who’ve worked on the design, actually bringing that character to life as a balloon in the sky, couldn’t be more excited about it.”

Will any Texans be in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?

Yes! Texas will be represented by one performance group and one marching band in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Notably, Texas is the only state outside of New York to have multiple groups featured in the parade.

The Kilgore College Rangerettes, a renowned college drill team, will return for the third time in four years, having previously participated in 2021 and 2022.

Flower Mound High School will be debuting at the event. As one of the 11 marching bands performing in the parade, this will be the school’s first time participating. The Dallas Morning News reports over 400 students will be in attendance. Flower Mound is one of only five high school bands in the country to make this year’s list.

Aside from New York, Texas is the only state to claim more than one performance group or marching band participating in this year’s parade, according to the Houston Chronicle.
