The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team will try to get its ball-handling issues under control against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets when they square off on Tuesday, January 7 (1/7/2025) at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York.

Chris Bell paced the Orange with 18 points, Donnie Freeman had his sixth double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and five Orange players scored in the double digits. But it wasn’t enough to keep up with Florida state in the 90-74 loss.
Syracuse’s turnover problems saw some slight improvement, but that still meant 15 total turnovers during the game. Still, the ball-handling improved slightly from the 21, 21, and 18 turnovers in its previous three games.
Now the Orange return home looking for some home court advantage to make an impact on their 0-3 conference record. The Yellow Jackets are 8-7 overall and 2-2 in the ACC. They are coming off an 85-64 win over Boston College.
