Rumors have been swirling that Khloé Kardashian may have subtly distanced herself from Good American, the fashion brand she helped launch nearly a decade ago.
“Khloé is still an investor in Good American but she has focused her time and attention on her newest podcast project and her Khloud line which she is hoping to release more new products soon,” an insider told Us Weekly exclusively. “She is not involved in strategy or operations for Good American but is still an ambassador.”
Social media sleuths have noted her reduced promotion of the label in recent months, sparking speculation that she could be stepping away from the company altogether. Adding fuel to the fire are rumblings of friction between Kardashian, 41, and her cofounder Emma Grede, who is heavily involved with the popular brand’s day-to-day operations.
Content creator @georgiejxmes shared her hot take via Instagram on January 26, noting that Kardashian hasn’t done a grid post about Good American since August 2024. “Meanwhile [Kardashian] has been promoting her collaboration with Fabletics heavily,” she said in the video, also pointing out that Good American is “not linked” in the reality star’s Instagram bio.
In her video, the content creator weighed in on Kardashian’s rumored rift with Grede, 43, who is also a founding partner of Kim Kardashian’s ultra successful Skims brand. She noted that Khloé allegedly “unfollowed Emma on Instagram.” (Khloé does not follow Grede as of February 2026, while Grede follows Khloé, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian as well as Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kris Jenner.)
“Khloé and Emma had a working relationship that fizzled out,” the insider told Us in an update. “They aren’t close and haven’t been in awhile because they don’t work closely together anymore. It’s been like this for the last year.”
Another source close to the situation added that Khloé is still a “cofounder of the business and still involved but Khloé and Emma are not close any more.”
Us Weekly reached out to Khloé Kardashian, Good American and Emma Grede for comment.
Khloé said that she planned to get more personal with her listeners on her “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast last fall, revealing that she would be bringing in more family members and friends for season 3 as opposed to self-help gurus in an interview with People.
“It’s going to be a little looser, and not so talk show-y, if that makes sense,” she said in November 2025.
More recently, she shared a new ‘80s-inspired ad promoting her Khloud Protein Popcorn, which is loved for being a tasty seed-oil free snack.
She captioned her post, “Sour ex? Salty situation? Time for a better pickle… Introducing Khloud’s newest flavor of protein popcorn, Dill Pickle. Shop now at link in bio, Gopuff, or at an Albertsons near you🥒💚.”
Khloé also teased her health-conscious brand’s giveaway, concluding her caption with a call to action. “Comment 1-900-REAL-DILL below for a chance to win a limited-edition Khloud x Good Girl Snacks gift box in celebration of our newest flavor.”
