We Spoke to 5 Astrologers About Their Predictions for the 2024 U.S. Election

With the 2024 presidential election on the horizon, the people of the United States are expecting a major reality shift. But if you’re an astrologer, you can always look to the stars and planets to help you predict the outcome. November 5 sits in the not-so-distant future and is marked as a moment when history will decide whether Kamala Harris or Donald Trump will be the 47th president of the United States. With so much at stake, I decided to speak with five astrologers and get their perspective of what’s to come.

The astrology community has been a beacon of eerily accurate insights from the very beginning. Some astrologers—like Starheal—predicted the exact moment President Joe Biden would step down, knowing it would all unfold around the full moon in Capricorn on July 21. Other astrologers predicted that something very difficult would soon happen to Donald Trump, like the recent assassination attempt. In the next few months, major astrological transits will hit both Kamala Harris Donald Trump’s birth charts, which could lead them to victory or to disappointment.

As a practicing astrologer who has been giving professional readings for over a decade, the astrology surrounding this election is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Regardless of what happens, one thing is sure—a new reality will dawn after the 2024 United States presidential election. But what will that new reality look like? Let’s take a look at the upcoming transits from now until November, and look into how both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will be impacted by it all.

How astrology will affect the 2024 U.S. presidential election

How astrology will affect the 2024 U.S. presidential election

  • September 10: The first debate between Harris and Trump

    • The Virgo sun will be conjunct Kamala Harris’ natal Pluto and Venus in her fourth house of home and family. This will encourage her to think about “moving to a new house” (potentially a white one).

    • However, the Virgo sun also falls in Donald Trump’s first house of self-expression and confidence, calling for a heated debate if they both show up.

  • September 17: The full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces

    • This lunar eclipse is happening the day before Trump’s scheduled sentencing date. It also in falls in his seventh house of “others”, majorly shifting the way people see him and relate to him.

  • October 2: The new moon solar eclipse in Libra

    • This solar eclipse lands in Kamala’s fifth house of creativity and self-expression, indicating that she could start to feel more positive and optimistic about her future.

  • October 9: Jupiter retrograde in Gemini

    • This retrograde period lasts until February 4, 2025. It indicates that political tides are beginning turn, and everyone’s luck will change in a fast-paced and unexpected way.

  • October 11: Pluto stations direct in Capricorn

    • Pluto retrograde ends at 29 degrees of Capricorn, the most climactic degree in astrology. Pluto first entered Capricorn back in 2008, which means that certain power struggles within the United States—like the housing crisis—are finally reaching a new conclusion.

    • This will give us all a chance to find a way for our country to work for “all” and not just “some”. In other words, wealth will be redistributed, which will begin to even out the playing field in the coming years. Capricorn’s energy is all about achievement, but what at cost? It’s important that we put our faith in a leader that works for everyone, not just the top 1 percent.

  • November 3: Mars-Pluto opposition

    • “When Mars and Pluto oppose each other, it tends to stir up power plays and an over-exertion of energy, anger, and occasionally, violence. This transit signifies the intense emotions that will inevitably be felt in the days leading up to the election,” says astrologer and author of the Zodiac Healer newsletter, Chelsea Jackson. She continues: “The current political systems is being challenged by the first Black female presidential candidate, and this transit represents the significant change that will occur if Kamala Harris is elected as president, along with the intense scrutiny she may face as a result.”

  • November 5: Election day

    • On election day, the moon will be in Capricorn, squaring the North Node and South Node. Jackson explains: “Capricorn is a sign associated with the government and traditional systems, reflecting the impactful decision the country is making between two incredibly different candidates.”

    • Mars will also be in Leo during this time, a placement that both Harris and Trump have in their birth charts.

  • November 15: Saturn stations direct in Pisces

    • Beginning on June 29, Saturn retrograde comes to an end just 10 days after the election. Saturn is the planet of karma, and because it stations direct right after the election, there could be a major upset that leads to a recount of the vote. This is when the world may ultimately find out who will win the presidential election.

  • December 7: Neptune stations direct in Pisces

    • Beginning on July 1, the planet dubbed “The Great Dissolver” will help us to see through any illusions or fear-mongering that has been taking place over its five-month retrograde. We will ultimately see a push to turn the “dreams” promised during these presidential campaigns into reality. This could also indicate a clean-up from any emotional highs or destruction that occurred during this election cycle.

The U.S. is headed for a major revolution, according to astrology

The U.S. is headed for a major revolution, according to astrology

During this election, rebellious Uranus will return to the same position it was in when the the United States was first erected. The U.S. is also currently in the midst of its three-year-long Pluto return (which will peak from August 28 to November 23). These transits will reveal the ways that democracy—as it was originally intended in the Declaration of Independence of 1776—has dramatically changed. It all comes down to how this election goes, but it’s important to note that the founding fathers were also dealing with the same cocktail of chaotic energy from Uranus and Pluto. They harnessed these revolutionary themes by working towards their belief that “all men are created equal,” and that “they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.

“There are two major planetary players to watch out for on November 5, Uranus and Jupiter. Uranus is loud,” says astrologer Stevie Goldstein. “Outer planet Uranus is associated with shocking news and is also jokingly referred to as ‘the kingmaker’ or the ‘king toppler’. During this election, Uranus will be right on Trump’s natal Midheaven (his place of power, authority, and legacy), which definitely has my eyebrows raised. So far, Uranus on his Midheaven has not been kind to him.” She further explains that Uranus will also be on top of Kamala’s natal Jupiter in Taurus, but because Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion, it could instead lead her to victory.

Astrologer Lisa Stardust notes that Mercury retrograde will be moving over J.D. Vance’s Leo ascendant in August 2024, and Uranus will be on the cusp of both of their Midheavens (a.k.a. the most public part of their charts). She explains: “Uranus can go either way. If you’re looking for a new position or job, Uranus can be really exciting. However, Donald Trump has been president before, though, so this isn’t really a ‘new’ job for him. They’re both having a lot of luck, but so is Kamala Harris because [Uranus] is on her Jupiter.”

Kamala’s birth chart shows a new career high is coming

Kamala’s birth chart shows a new career high is coming

Right now, Saturn in Pisces is transiting Kamala’s Midheaven (a.k.a. her 10th house of career and reputation), which could signal longterm changes settling into place. Stardust also notes that September 17 lunar eclipse is also landing on her Midheaven, which is promising. She explains that the North Node of Destiny is also entering her 10th house in 2025, but will be squaring off with Donald Trump’s sun and moon, and may not be beneficial to him. “If you were asking me who had the better chart to win, I would probably say Kamala. But Donald Trump’s chart isn’t horrible, and neither is JD Vance’s. Uranus and Neptune both being retrograde during this time could indicate something majorly different happening for our country. Maybe the first female president in U.S. history?”

Let’s not forget Kamala turns 60 on October 20, launching her first house profection year. A first house profection year is a time of significant transformation that affects your identity and starts a brand new cycle in her life. Harris’ first house is ruled by Gemini and lucky Jupiter, which is currently sitting in Gemini until June 9, 2025. This means the next year is looking highly-favorable for her, causing her to take the center-stage. What’s more center-stage than being the first female President of the United States?

Her recent VP pick, Tim Walz, also has an incredible synastry with Kamala Harris. His Aries sun works well with her Aries moon, and they’re both in the midst of their second Saturn returns. This indicates a new career high for both of them. His Jupiter is also in Aries, sitting right next to Harris’ moon. This will greatly aid her ability to connect with the people of the United States on an emotional level, while inspiring her to stay optimistic as she continues to cultivate power.

Trump’s birth chart says his public image is shifting dramatically

Trump’s birth chart says his public image is shifting dramatically

Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946, the date of a total lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. Lunar eclipses mark major endings or culminations, and because he was born during a lunar eclipse, this year’s lunar eclipse on October 2 will feel familiar in its unpredictability, but new to him as it launches a new chapter in his second house of material ownership and self-worth.

“Something unpredictable will happen during this year’s election,” explains astrologer Daniela Karpenos. “This is because Uranus is a major player in Trump’s chart at the moment, and lunar eclipses also stir up major shifts in the charts of both Trump and Harris. There will be a last-minute unprecedented outcome—perhaps a sudden denial of Harris’ projected success or a backlash to Trump in some way. Nothing will go as planned”.

Chelsea Jackson says that on Election Day, “his most favorable transit is Jupiter retrograde in Gemini conjoining his natal North Node in Gemini. Regardless of the outcome, he will certainly have the support of those that voted for him. However, Uranus will closely conjunct his natal Midheaven in Taurus on this day, which points to unexpected changes to his public image and persona”.

Who do astrologers predict will win the election?

Who do astrologers predict will win the election?

Will Harris or Trump be the victor of the November 2024 U.S. Presidential Election? Here is what five astrologers think:

Kamala Harris:

  • I (Meghan Rose) believe that Kamala Harris is going to be elected, completely disrupting the old governmental systems and “norms” of our country on many fronts. I believe this will ultimately unite the people of the U.S. after a season of divisiveness and disorder, and encouraging women and people of color to shine and take up space.

  • Chelsea Jackson’s final take: “Overall, it looks like Kamala Harris has the election secured!”

  • Stevie Goldstein says “If I had to lock in my prediction as of today I would say it’s going to Kamala. Her Libra Sun is bringing a sense of peace and balance the public so desperately craves.”

Donald Trump:
