In the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump received 77 million votes. Kamala Harris got 75 million votes. Elon Musk wasn’t even on the ballot.

Musk hasn’t been nominated for a cabinet position, but he holds court in the Oval Office while cabinet members sit in meek silence. He hasn’t run for the House or Senate, yet he is more powerful than every member of Congress combined. He’s not the VP, but he’s sidelined JD Vance to become Trump’s #2.

Unelected Musk wields sweeping power, firing tens of thousands of government workers, often without specific approval from the President, Congress or department heads. He’s taken a chainsaw to entire agencies, crippling essential services. His DOGE raided the personal data of millions of Americans, with consequences we haven’t begun to understand. Many of these actions are likely illegal.

Musk calls this “efficiency,” but a better word is “vandalism.”

Who benefits? Elon Musk. He’s paved the way for billionaire tax cuts. and he’s partially dismantled organizations investigating his companies.

Ironically, Musk doesn’t understand the democracy he’s tearing apart. Born in South Africa and raised during apartheid, he’s openly supported the extremist AfD party in Germany and mimics fascist salutes.

Note to Elon Musk – the U.S. fought against Nazism in WWII.

The fact that Musk is worth $350 billion and donated almost $300 million to the president’s campaign doesn’t buy him the right to run our country into the ground. Americans didn’t elect Elon Musk. The President should fire him.
