The 2025 awards show season has been a big one for Ariana Grande − and her boyfriend, actor Ethan Slater.

Grande, who’s up for Best Supporting Actress in the 97th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2, 2025, has been hitting the red carpet and “Wicked” movie premieres. Slater also appears in the big-screen adaptation of the beloved musical. The pair has been photographed together at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Critics Choice Awards and various movie premieres including New York, London and Los Angeles.

Before playing the munchkin Boq in “Wicked” opposite Grande’s Glinda the Good Witch character, Slater was best known for his stage work on Broadway. He appeared in “Diner” and “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical,” for which he was nominated for a Tony Award in 2018.

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have been dating since summer 2023. She was previously married to Dalton Gomez, and Slater was married to clinical psychologist Lilly Jay. Slater’s divorce was finalized in 2024.
