Jeff Dunham and his wife, Audrey Dunham, married in 2012
Jeff Dunham got a second chance at love when he met Audrey Murdick.
The comedian wed Audrey in 2012, two years after his divorce from his ex-wife, Paige. In honor of their wedding, the couple spoke to PEOPLE about their relationship, saying they share a love of laughing together.
“We can’t imagine a love any better than this,” the couple said at the time. “No matter what the day, we go to sleep laughing, and we wake up laughing.”
It’s not all fun and games for the pair, though. Hard work is also something the couple can bond over. They both hold many business titles on top of their duties as parents, and while fans know Jeff for his work as a producer, ventriloquist, comedian and actor, some may not be as familiar with Audrey’s work.
Jeff celebrates Audrey’s hard work whenever he sees an opportunity, often sharing her endeavors with his 1.6 million Instagram followers.
In April 2024, Jeff shared a clip from Audrey’s appearance on a local news station. “ICYMI: Watch @AudreyDunham on @ktla5news talking all things Autumn Sons Baking Co. – super easy, decadent and amazingly top 9 allergen free cookie mixes!” he captioned the post.
So who is Jeff Dunham’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Audrey Dunham.
She’s a cookbook author and digital creator
Audrey is a dedicated vegan baker who has combined her passion and talents to create three cookbooks.
On her website, Audrey shared a little bit about her journey in the culinary arts, writing, “I earned a plant-based nutrition certificate through eCornell, spent a week training at the Culinary Institute of America, started this blog as well as a Youtube Channel where I share my vegan recipes, filmed a Food Network show with my husband Jeff, wrote two vegan holiday cookbooks, and launched two decadent vegan and gluten free cookie mix lines!”
Audrey is also the founder of Autumn Sons Baking Co., which is named for her and Jeff’s sons who were born in October. The brand is focused on plant based baking, with the treats all free from gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy and GMOs.
Beyond that, Audrey spends time creating content for her YouTube page, where she shares recipe videos and more.
Audrey also has a background in fitness modeling, training and nutrition.
She’s close with her family
Audrey is outspoken about the support she receives from her mom, Sarah Nursall Murdick, and dad, Steve Murdick.
After the Vegan Women’s Summit in West Hollywood in May 2024, Audrey gave her parents a shout-out on Instagram, writing, “a big THANK YOU to my wonderful mom @earth_mama_granny and my dad @stevemurdick for all the countless ways you helped this week, and to Vivian and Marcia for helping me share loads of cookie goodness at the event.🍪”
The following day, Audrey gushed about her mom in a Mother’s Day tribute. “Love you so much, Mama. You mean the world to this family, and we are all so thankful for your love and ALL you do for us!” she wrote. “Hope you had the most wonderful Mother’s Day- I enjoyed every minute celebrating with you today!”
At the time, Audrey also reflected on the impact Jeff’s late mother, Joyce, who had passed away earlier that month. “She was truly one of the kindest souls I have ever known; always showering this family with love and always smiling,” Audrey shared. “We love you and miss you so much, Joyce.”
It’s not just her parents whom she is close with, either. In August 2024, Audrey celebrated her brother, Nick, and her newly minted sister-in-law, Kim, shortly after their wedding.
“My brother, Nick, and his longtime love, Kim, got hitched yesterday!!” Audrey captioned an Instagram post. “They had a short but sweet ceremony in a cottage in New Port Beach, then after we all joined in and cooked for hours making the taco feast of a lifetime. 🩷 Kim has felt like a part of the family for years now (we just love her to pieces!) So happy they made it official!”
She and Jeff married in 2012
Audrey and Jeff celebrated their love by saying “I do” in a ceremony that took place at Sunstone Vineyards and Winery in Santa Ynez, Calif., in October 2012.
According to Jeff, the wedding was all about “fun, friends, family, and food!”
Over the years, the duo have honored each other in posts on their anniversary, including two special tributes to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2022.
“Yesterday was the 10 year anniversary of me becoming the luckiest guy on the planet, when @AudreyDunham said ‘I do,’” Jeff wrote. “Every single day I look at her and feel warmth and love and sunshine and the blessings all around us. She’s an amazing mom to our twin boys and an unparalleled step-mom to our three daughters. I love you, my sweet girl. Thank you for spending these ten short years with me, and here’s to many more decades together as one.”
Audrey, meanwhile, kept her post short but sweet, writing, “Happy 10th anniversary (one day late) to the love of my life, @jeffdunham . The best husband a girl could ever hope for. ❤️10 down, forever to go.❤️”
She and Jeff share twin boys
The couple welcomed their twin sons, James and Jack, on Oct. 16, 2015. The comedian confirmed the happy news to PEOPLE, saying, “Mama Audrey and both boys are happy and healthy and doing well. Born two hours apart and no C-section needed. I was literally right there, and after the heads were clear, the doctor let me pull the little guys out the rest of the way. Life doesn’t get any more beautiful and amazing than that.”
In an October 2023 throwback post, Audrey shared that the boys were initially due in November but made their appearance weeks early.
“Looking back at photos from eight years ago at about this time … Jeff was wrapping up his Vegas residency and we were heading back to Los Angeles,” she captioned a pregnancy photo with Jeff. “We thought our twin boys wouldn’t arrive for another 2-5 weeks, and we would have just enough time to unpack and get the nursery ready. Little did we know, we had 6 DAYS, and our November babies were actually going to be October babies!”
Audrey and Jeff are equally outspoken about their appreciation for each other when it comes to parenting. In March 2022, Audrey described Jeff as a “wonderful and super engaged daddy.”
Jeff, meanwhile, not only credits Audrey for being a great mom to their boys, but also to his three daughters — Kenna, Ashlyn and Bree — from a previous marriage. In an October 2022 post, Jeff called Audrey “an unparalleled step-mom to our three daughters.”
Audrey, Jeff, Kenna, Ashlyn and Bree all appeared on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud in July 2018.
They are also grandparents to two boys, Harry and Charlie, who belong to Jeff’s daughter Bree.
She’s an avid traveler
Audrey loves to document her adventures — both near and far — on Instagram. She, Jeff and their two sons have gone to Italy, Alaska and more.
In July 2023, the family of four enjoyed some time in Greece.
“Greece… you’re such a unique place rich with culture, beauty, and the most delicious and fresh food!” she wrote alongside a series of photos. “We now see why so many people from all over the world love you. Thank you for showing us a great time. 🇬🇷 ❤️”
Her travels aren’t all for relaxation, either. In May 2023, Audrey shared that she and the boys joined Jeff on the road for one of his shows.
“This is what we’ve been up to the past few days,” she wrote alongside pictures that showed moments from their family’s journey. “Thursday night, the boys and I joined @jeffdunham on the road for his show in lovely Erie, PA. Then, it was off to Fort Mitchell, KY for the grand re-opening of Vent Haven, the world’s only museum dedicated to ventriloquism. This place means a great deal to Jeff (and me), and it was so fun seeing Jack and James’s reactions to this special, crazy, cool, quirky place!
She’s a holiday enthusiast
Just one look at Audrey’s Instagram page and followers will see how she and Jeff go all out for Halloween with family costumes. In 2023, the family chose Jeff’s ventriloquist puppets, including Bubba J, Walter and Peanut for their costume, with son James dressed as Jeff.
In previous years, the Dunham clan went as characters from Harry Potter, Scooby Doo,Frankenstein, Star Wars, The Wizard of Oz and more.
The foodie in Audrey couldn’t help but dress their boys in matching candy corn costumes when they were just three weeks old.
Halloween isn’t the only holiday that Audrey takes seriously, either. From matching Christmas pajamas and delicious desserts, to Valentine’s Day sweet treats, and even setting a leprechaun trap for St. Patrick’s Day, the Dunham’s don’t miss a beat.
