Viewers will have to wait a little longer to watch Bravo’s new show, Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.

Although the series was originally scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, October 14, Us Weekly has learned that the show’s first episode has been postponed one week to October 21.

Us can confirm the premiere will kick off with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas swapping lives with former Mormon Lindsay Flake.

While Angie loves brand names, beauty and micromanaging her family, Lindsay is described by Bravo as an “off-the-grid homesteader” whose family lives without electricity, running water and rules.

It is unclear when Wendy’s specific episode will air. The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Emily Simpson and The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga also participated in the series and will have individual episodes airing later this fall.

The show’s delay comes after Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested and booked on fraud charges.

According to court documents obtained by Us, a grand jury indicted both Wendy and Eddie on Thursday, October 9, for insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and making a false statement to a police officer.

The Real Housewives of Potomac stars were booked in Westminster, Maryland, with bail set at $50,000 each. They were both released on Friday, October 10.

“Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits. They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans and colleagues,” a representative for the couple told Us on Friday. “The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”

Wendy joined The Real Housewives of Potomac at the beginning of season 5 in 2020. Throughout her experience on the show, she would celebrate her family life with Eddie and their three children.

In August, the couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary with a romantic getaway.

“We did the work and prayerfully, God has done the rest,” Wendy wrote via Instagram at the time. “We have built a life that will outlive us, and for that I am forever grateful.”

Earlier this month, the show kicked off season 10. During one of the opening scenes, Wendy joined her costars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Stacey Rusch and Keiarna Stewart to discuss Karen Huger’s legal drama.

“For Karen, we may have our differences,” Wendy shared on the show, “but at the core of me, that was once my friend so I want the best for her.”

In a recent interview with Us, Wendy teased her experience on Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.

At the time, the host of the Dr. Wendy Show said she had a positive experience and would sign up again.

“It’s so interesting to see yourself through the lens of others,” she shared with Us. “And it’s one of those experiences you can’t put a price tag on.”

Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition premieres on Bravo, Tuesday, October 21 at 9 p.m. ET.
